Inside The Shop

Year after year, doesn't matter who is in office anymore, the quality of life for at least 80% of us is going down. The last ten years it seems to have picked up speed. The question is what do our elected officials plan on doing? They are supposed to be educated, look out for the peoples best interest, and be true to America. Instead they ship out OUR jobs to third world countries to satisfy the pockets of big business. In return we get higher unemployment, a lost tax base, and lower quality of life. The politicians get perks hand over fist from big business for screwing the American family. America also receives poisoned childrens toys and jewlery,poisoned dog food, and inferior goods from china. Since all of our jobs are leaving the country the U.S. has lost huge amounts of tax revenue.So our government instead of doing the right thing and fixing their treasonous ways opts to borrow TRILLIONS of dollars from communist china. There are so many things that have been done illegally by our government to hurt the American people I couldn't list them all. To sum this up all i'm trying to say is the American people need to wake up, see what is going on, and use some common sense.

It's called greed. look at your tv set they have got people brainwashed.

The international union doesn't care. They are more interested in using dues to play politics than to represent the dues payors. They are more worried about pushing a horrible health care bill that forces by penalty of law that citizens purchase health insurance from the very health insurers that they demonize daily, all the while ignoring that this and all the other Obama initiatives (such as cap and trade) only serve to further encourage outsourcing industry.

Our local union members don't care. How many are driving their Mexican made cars to work early every day to work voluntary production overtime while wearing their "solidarity" shirts (not to mention the hundreds who could retire,) while 404 of their brothers and sisters had to explain to their kids and grandkids why Santa didn't leave very much under the tree this year?

Our politicians don't care. NAFTA has decimated our mfg. and they continually throw fuel on the fire with regulations and taxes which only serve to beg companies to flee the country. Hope and change my ass.

I care, and I'm sure most people do. The problem is, it only takes a few to ruin things for us all.
